WILLIAM  SCOTT  HARVEY,  79 of Summersville died Monday March 21, 2022 in the Summersville Regional Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Joy Harvey and Everett Truman and was born at Jodie May 13, 1942.  William was a retired coal miner and member of the UMWA. He was a life member of the NRA, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Gauley Bridge Masonic Lodge.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Humphreys Harvey.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday March 25 ^th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville.  Burial with Masonic Grave Rites will follow in the Walker Memorial Park at Summersville.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday.
