WILDA  MARGARET  DELAY,  92 years of age of Keslers Cross Lanes, passed away Saturday September 13,2025 in the Summersville Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Royal and Maggie Hypes Johnson and was born at Keslers Cross Lanes December 9,1932. Wilda was a homemaker and member of the Zoar Baptist Church. She enjoyed creating Arts & Crafts, gardening and hiking in the outdoors.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Delay and sisters Byrna Frances Vickers and Florence Nutter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday September 17th in the Zoar Baptist Church at Keslers Cross Lanes with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
