Walter Allen McCue, born May 29, 1928 in Persinger, WV, born to Allen Rader and Daisy Armstrong McCue, passed away July 30, 2021 at his home in Salem, Virginia.  He was predeceased by all of his siblings (Ola McCue Groves, Beulah McCue Kincaid, Ollie McCue Senzal, Opal McCue McCutchen, and Virgil McCue), his first wife, Lillian Abner McCue, son Jimmy Roger Harrah, and son Donnie Bott.   He is survived by his devoted wife and caregiver, Blanche Bott McCue, sons Johnny Harrah (Rita), Steve Bott (Clarsie) and Troy Bott (Kari), daughter-in-law Princess Conner Harrah, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neices, nephews, extended family and friends.    He was a general contractor in the Roanoke Valley for over 50 years.  His love of bargaining lead him to be a regular seller at Happy's Flea Market.

A period of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8PM at Lotz.  Services will be held Wednesday, August 4 at 11AM in the chapel at Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Va.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Walter's memory to Good Samaritan Hospice, 2408 Electric Rd, Roanoke, Va 24018.
