TARA  LaDAWN  WOOD,   40 years of age of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Summersville,  passed away Friday December 2, 2022 at her home following an extended illness.  She was the daughter of the late Roy and Brenda Akers Potter and was born at Beckley December 15, 1981.

Tara was a former supervisor for ADT and a Christian.

She was also preceded in death by her husband John Louis Wood in 2013.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday December 8 ^th in the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.
