STEVE  LORING  "STEVIE"  TATE,  70 years of age of Mt. Lookout, passed away Sunday August 17, 2025 at the Hubbard Hospice in Charleston. He was the son of the late Delmer L. and Frances O'Neal Tate and was born at Crown Hill September 15, 1954. Stevie loved to play with bounce balls and blow bubbles. He also loved trains and train whistles.

Several nieces and nephews, his longtime care worker Joyce Miller and beloved friends and family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday August 22nd at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Mt. Lookout with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville from 6 to 8,p.m. Thursday evening.
