Shavonne was born March 21, 1979 to Veronica "Jeanne" (Kincaid) (James "Billy")Stone and Lester (Crystal) Hanks. Besides her parents, she is also survived by her significant other, James Ward Johnson, her beautiful daughers: Melaynna "Lani" (Derek Johnson), Jacquelyne "Jacquel" (Anthony Barker), Veronica "Roni" Bickford, and Amber (Jonathan) Brown. Shavonne had a remarkable ability to connect with people. Over the years, she welcomed friends into her home and took them under her wing like a mother hen. The love that she had for her daughters and grand babies was unconditional. Those of us that knew her, knows how independant and stubborn she could be, but she also had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off ofher back. She spoke her heart and her mind and wasn't afraid of hard work. In the words of Lainey Wilson, "She Knew A Few Things A Man Oughta Know".
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday May 7 th in the Zoar Baptist Church at Keslers Cross Lanes.
Her body was cremated. The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville was in charge of arrangements.
