RUTH  RATLIFF,  96 years of age of Nettie passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday May 23, 2023, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late John and Carrie Bostic Woods Sr. and was born in Kanawha County August 25, 1926.  Ruth loved to cook, tending to her flowers and spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted Christian and will be missed by many.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Ratliff; son David Moore; grandson John Edward Ratliff; great grandson Samuel Ratliff; brothers J.R. and Jack Woods; sister Louise Ratliff.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday May 26th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Von Sadler officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery at Nettie.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 1 p.m. until service time on Friday.
