RUBY  LEE  WESTFALL  SYMES,  90 years of age of Summersville, passed away Tuesday May 20,2025 in the WV Hospice Care Center at Elkins. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Taylor and Georgia Morris Taylor Samples and was born at Bomont May 24,1934. Ruby was a member of the Senior Center and the Calvary Baptist Church in Summersville.

She was also preceded in death by two husbands Donald Eugene Westfall and Owen Symes, son Garry Westfall, granddaughters Amy Westfall and Jennifer Dawn Butler, great grandson Hunter Christian Butler and siblings, Charles and William Taylor, Lilly Wolfe, Margaret Castle, Edith Smith, Francis Amey, Irene Bowers, Patty Clendenin and Freda Kenney.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday May 23rd in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
