Ronnie L. Truman Sr., 81, of Mt. Nebo, WV and Rockwell, NC went home to be with the Lord on April 8, 2023. He was the son of the late Burl Truman and Zelma Ermal  Sears White and was born at Clay March 5, 1942.

Ronnie loved hunting and being a part of the Cross Ministry at Charity Baptist Church. He was retired from the WV Department of Highways and was a member of Charity Baptist Church and attended Providence Baptist Church while living in Rockwell, NC.

Ronnie was preceded in death by Mary, his beloved wife of 55 years,  two brothers, Buddy J. Truman and Bobby Truman,  two sisters, Sharon Stone and Connie Love.

He is survived by his five children, Ronnie Truman Jr. (Priscilla) of Salisbury, NC, Rodney Truman of Mt. Nebo, Robin Evans of Rockwell, NC, Scott Truman (Donna) of Charles Town and Teri House of Rockwell, NC;

13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren,

Sisters, Shirley Truman-Adkins, of Huntington and Vicky Rhodes of Beckley.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m.  Friday, April 14th in the Charity Baptist Church at Mt. Nebo.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Glade Creek.  Friends may call at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.
