RICHARD  DEAN  THOMAS,  66 of Lansing died Wednesday August 11,2021 in the Plateau Medical Center at Oak Hill.  He was the son of the late William "Bill" and Freda Mullens Thomas and was born at Gauley Bridge January 17, 1955.  Richard was a retired carpenter and drywall installer and was an employee of Mill Creek Cabins at Lansing.  He took great pride in his work and was a Pentecostal by faith.

He was also preceded in death by his loving step-mother Pauline Thomas.

Special Grandson that he loved dearly Michael William Thomas, Grandchildren; Bryson and Bentley Thomas, Amber, Justin and Audrey Vanderham, Jordan, Lauren and Brooklyn Thomas, Jacob, Glena, Jase and Levi Thomas.

Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday August 20 ^th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Walker Memorial Park at Summersville.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Friday.
