RAYMOND  PRESTON  PERKINS,  74 of Summersville passed away Thursday January 19, 2023 in the Peyton Hospice House at Lewisburg.  He was the son of the late Paul Raymond and Elsie Bly Perkins and was born at Gassaway December 9, 1948.  Raymond was a natural gas pipeline operating engineer and a member and deacon of the Southern Baptist Fellowship in Summersville.

He was also preceded in death by brothers Anthony Perkins, Jerry Perkins and Rondal Brown

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday January 24 ^th in the Southern Baptist Fellowship at Summersville with Pastor Delbert Walker and Pastor Larry Gawthrop officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hill Cemetery at Muddlety.  Friends may call at the church from noon until service time on Tuesday.
