PATTY  JEAN  DUFFIELD, 79 years of age of Charleston, formerly of Summersville, died Thursday July 18,2024 in the Charleston Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Gracie Hall Dancy and was born in Clay County on June 27,1945. Patty was a homemaker and enjoyed woodworking and genealogy.  She was a member of the Reynolds Street Baptist Church in Summersville.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Duffield and one son Fred Duffield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday July 22nd in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in the Sirk Cemetery at Duck. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Monday.
