Nelson Carl Rader

Nelson Carl Rader, 81 years of age of Mt. Nebo, passed away January 19, 2024 in the Bowers Hospice House at Beckley.  He was the son of the late Lawrence Coleman and Mabel Claris Scott Rader and was born at Summersville on June 10, 1942.  Nelson was a Natural Gas and Timber worker and a member of the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church.

Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by Brother: Junior Rader and Sisters: Pauline Rader and Lulabelle Rader.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday January 27, 2024 in the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Pat Bennett officiating.  Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery at the church. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hickory Grove Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 542 Mt. Nebo, WV 26679.
