MICHAEL  WAYNE  SUMMERS,  54 years of age of Canvas, passed away Saturday March 21, 2026 at the VA Medical Center in Beckley. He was the son of the late Francis Lee and Donna Christine Johnson Summers and was born at Summersville on February 1, 1972. Michael was a retired correctional officer at Mt. Olive and a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed collecting guns, gun shows, hunting, fishing, and movies.
