KENNETH  E.  SIMONS,  90 of Summersville passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022 at his home.  He was the son of the late Charles and Lula Starcher Simons and was born at Richwood

November 4, 1931.  Ken was a retired accountant, a former Boy Scout leader and a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of Korea.  He was a member of the Summersville Baptist Church having served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and member of the choir.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday February 7 ^th in the Summersville Baptist Church with Pastor Dana Gatewood and Joe Dooley officiating.  Burial will follow in the East Lawn Cemetery at Canvas.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.
