JOYCE  McCARTHY  "WINKIE"  AMICK,  83 of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Crichton, died Wednesday July 14,2021.  She was the daughter of the late Clarence Everett and Bessie Mae Moore McCarthy and was born at Gallager February 12,1938. She was the owner of Joyce's, a special needs teacher and a Baptist by faith.

She was also preceded in death by one son Robert Earl Amick and one daughter Evelyn Glenna Amick.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday July 24 ^th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Rev. Vernon McCarthy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dorsey Cemetery at Runa.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
