JOSEPH  WAYNE  GROVES  II,  26 of Canvas died Monday July 26,2021 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Nettie.  He was the son of Joseph and Jamie Dawn Lay Groves of Summersville and was born July 6, 1995.  JW was a truck driver and NCHS graduate.

Memorial services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday August 7 ^th in the Ward Freewill Baptist Church at Canvas with Ed Lay and Shirley Hellems officiating.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville was in charge of arrangements.
