Eddie Jane Cline, 86 years of age of Mt. Lookout went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 9, 2024 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Rufus Buchanan and Jamie Beck Thacker and was born at Sylva, North Carolina October 9, 1937.  Jane was a former waitress and homemaker.  She was a member of the New Beginnings Worship Center in Summersville where she welcomed new guests every Sunday with her homemade banana nut bread and was in charge of the kitchen ministry for many years.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Cline; son James Lee Brown; daughter Jenny Lynn Sparrow; siblings Dwight, Ronald and Allen Buchanan, Danny Thacker and Rufusene Buchanan.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at noon on Saturday, January 13th in the New Beginnings Worship Center at Summersville with Pastors Brian Patterson, Stacy Dingess, and Joey Sheppard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Walker Memorial Park at Summersville.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.  In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the family.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.
