Hazel Ruth Johnson

Hazel Ruth Johnson, 89 years of age of Summersville, passed away January 23, 2024 in the Bowers Hospice House at Beckley.  She was the daughter of the late Arsa F. and Lula May Smith Cain and was born at Clay on December 20, 1934.  Hazel was a waitress at Stonewall Jackson Restaurant for 19 years.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her Husband Rommie Johnson and Son Charles Shaffer.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in the Mausoleum at the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin with Kenny Hayes officiating. The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.
