GORDON  HOLT  "DUCK"  MOORE,  88 years of age of Summersville, died Tuesday March 19, 2024 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.  He was the son of the late Delbert and Ethel Moore and was born at Russellville July 29, 1935. Duck was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam, a coal miner and electrician.

He was also preceded in death by siblings; Charles, Wilber, William and Forest Moore, Helen Simms and Ella Mae Darquenne.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday March 25th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville. Burial with military honors will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday March 26th in the National Cemetery at Grafton with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.
