GERALDINE ROSE TRUEX BROWN, 93 years of age of Summersville, passed away Wednesday September 16, 2026, at the Genesis White Sulphur Springs Center. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Lula Gladwell Truex and was born at Trout Valley June 30,1933. Geraldine was a homemaker and member of the Summersville Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Fred J. Brown and siblings; Everett, Ronuel, Fred, Florence, Ina, Lorena, Beulah, Charlotte, Hildred, Goldie and Ruth.

Sister-in-Law Alberta Dixon of Birch River

Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday September 21st at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville with Pastor Sean Wightman officiating. Burial will follow at the West Virginia Memorial Gardens in Calvin. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday.
