EVA  M.  KEENAN,  89 of Dixie died Monday September 19, 2022 in the Shelby Mills Personal Care Home at Powellton. She was the daughter of the late Marco and Gertrude Brown McLaughlin and was born at Birch River May 13, 1933.  Eva was a Nicholas County High School graduate and a retired school teacher in Nicholas and Fayette Counties with over thirty years of service.  She was a member of the Jodie Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Ralph L. Keenan, daughter Diana Clarice Vanscoy, brothers Emil and Brenny McLaughlin and sister Dollie Acree.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday September 24 ^th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Rick White officiating.  Burial will follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens at Victor.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care.
