Esther Nell Bailes Hughes

Esther Nell Bailes Hughes, 85 of Pulaski Virginia, went to be with her heavenly father on Monday December 18, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Austin H. and Nellie B. McCutcheon Bailes and was born in Summersville on April 19, 1938.  She was a homemaker and a member of New Life Assembly.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her Husband Donald R. Hughes Sr, Brothers: Edward, Dale and Darrell Bailes and Sisters:  Reva Tremmel and Ruth Robinette.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday December 22, 2023 at 1 p.m.  in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville, with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating.  Burial will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin.  Friends may call the funeral home from Noon to service time. Waters Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
