ELSIE  JUNE  RICHARDSON  DEITZ,  84 years of age of Mt. Lookout, passed away peacefully at home Thursday July 23,2026 with her husband and children surrounding her. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Daniel Richardson and was born at Trough Fork June 22,1942. Elsie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved by everyone who met her and was called Mamaw by many. She gave her heart to the Lord when she was 12 years old and loved to sing gospel music. Before she lost her eyesight, she loved reading her Bible, doing puzzles, sewing and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Melvin Moore, grandson Eli Facemire, brothers Earl and Rick Richardson and sisters Alice Ellis and Sharon Deitz.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 28th at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Runa with Pastor Allen Travis officiating.

The Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
