EDWARD  LEE  HAMRICK,  59 years of age of Summersville, died Tuesday April 23, 2024 in the CAMC General Hospital from injuries he received in a work accident.  He was the son of the late Darrell and Ruth Ann Bennett Hamrick and was born at Sutton September 4, 1964.  Eddie was a truck driver for Thomas Bailes Contracting in Summersville and a well-known " fix it man" who enjoyed working on small engines.

He was also preceded in death by his grandmother Maggie Hamrick and brother Roger Hamrick.

Eddie will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday May 6th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamrick-Blankenship Cemetery at Enoch.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Monday.
