Drema Ann (Boothe) Holcomb, 83, of Pool, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at WVU in Summersville.

Born May 18, 1939, in Anjean, she was the daughter of the late Delbert (Deb) Boothe and Erma (Murphy) Boothe.

She worked for Hecks until their closing and then worked for Wal-Mart for many years until her health forced her to retire. She was musically inclined and played guitar with a country music band in the 1970's. In her younger years, she loved watching her teenaged granddaughter play softball and often traveled with the team parents to games in other states. Even though she only completed sixth grade, she obtained her GED in 1994. She was honored with a party to celebrate.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Holcomb, her daughter Tessie, sister Betty, granddaughter Christy and granddaughter Kimber.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter Cindy and her husband Allen of Pool, son Tommy and his wife Vickie of Pool, brother Randy of Ohio, stepson John, grandchildren Eric Nutter and family of Indiana, Stacie Roberson and family of Indiana, Elizabeth Rodebaugh and family of Florida and five great grandchildren.

To honor her wishes, there will be a simple graveside service with immediate family members at 2 pm Friday, May 5, 2023, with longtime family friend Johnny Bob Hamrick officiating.  Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
