Dessie Mae Baker

Dessie Mae Baker, 87 years of age of Summersville, passed away January 16, 2024 at the Summersville Health Care Center.  She was the daughter of the late Edward and Bertha Enloe Ayers and was born at Ravensford, NC on June 07, 1936.  Dessie was a homemaker and a member of the Summersville Nursing Home Auxiliary for 55 years.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her Husband, Henry Ray Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Dan Lowther officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.  Burial will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin.  The Waters Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
