DANIEL  R.  THOMAS,  68 years of age of Clay, died Tuesday July 29, 2025 at the WVU Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston. He was the son of the late Sherman and Dora Lee Dodrill Thomas and was born at Sutton November 16,1956. Big Dan was a retired coal miner.

In keeping with his wishes, his body was cremated. Memorial services will be conducted at noon on Monday August 4th at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville with Pastor Linn Schiefer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Monday.
