DANA  NUTTER,  94 years of age of Mt. Lookout, passed away peacefully Tuesday March 10,2026 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. He was the son of the late Lundy Clay and Bessie Pearl Moore Nutter and was born at Runa on February 6,1932. Dana was a coal miner for more than 35 years and a lifelong member of the UMWA. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He was also preceded in death by one grandson Daniel Nutter: brothers Randell, Roy and Delbert and sister Linda.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday March 13th in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Mount Lookout with Pastor Mark Secrist officiating.
