CLYDE  EDWARD  CANADAY,  90 years of age of Summersville, passed away Wednesday December 18,2024 in the Ansted Center. He was the son of the late Carney and Vada Miller Canaday and was born at Pine Knob May 28,1934. Clyde was a retired diesel mechanic from Naomi Trucking in Summersville and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two wives Betty and Wanetta Canaday.

Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Monday December 23rd in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Ryan Trescott officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in the Pine View Cemetery at Sylvester. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Monday.
