CLARENCE  RONALD  DELAY,  90 of Keslers Cross Lanes died Thursday February 2, 2023 at his home.  He was the son of the late William and Catherine Marie Smith Delay and was born at Ward March 22, 1932. Clarence was a retired coal miner, member of the Zoar Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon in 1966.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the 82 ^nd Air Borne Division.

He was also preceded in death by six siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday February 6 ^th in the Zoar Baptist Church at Keslers Cross Lanes with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of arrangements.
