Charles Henry Sanford, 78 years of age of Pool, passed away Sunday July 13, 2025 at home.  He was the son of the late Charles and Lucille Vandell Sanford and was born at Meadow Bridge on May 02, 1947.  Charles was a construction supervisor and an Independent Fundamental Baptist by faith.

He was also preceded in death by Brothers, James and Steve Sanford, and Sisters, Kathy Woodman and Charlene Sheets.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. State Baptist Church with pastors Mark Secrist and Rick Childers officiating.  Friends may call at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove cemetery at Nallen.  The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
