C. JAMES DORSEY, 71 years of age of Lookout, passed away Tuesday November 3,2026 at the United Healthcare Center at Bridgeport. He was the son of Corine Hughart Dorsey McMillion of Summersville and the late Clarence Marshall Dorsey and was born at Richwood on August 5,1955. James was a coal miner and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He attended the New Beginnings Worship Center in Summersville.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Thomas Edward Dorsey.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday November 9th at the James Dorsey Family Cemetery in Lookout with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. A visitation will be held at the Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville from noon until 1 p.m. on Monday.
