Obituary

Bonnie Jean Crawford Neil, 85 years of age of Keslers Cross Lanes,  left this world peacefully from her home on October 15, 2021 to be with her heavenly family.  I'm sure they are rejoicing at her arrival.   She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lula Mae Vickers Crawford and was born at Keslers Cross Lanes on June 14, 1936.  She was an Avon Representative and a member of the President's Club.  She was also a long standing member of Zoar Baptist Church.   Bonnie had the gift of gab and was lovingly known by the community as Bonnie Avon for 40 years.  If she wasn't keeping the roads hot on the Avon trail she was busy outside in the garden or canning.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an only sister, Irene Crawford Legg and her much loved and missed brothers, Arlie, Chester, Lewis, Estil, Oscar and Russell Crawford.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory are:

1 son                          Dale (Susan) Neil                Keslers Cross Lanes

1 daughter                 Teresa (David) Huffman        Snow Hill

3 grandchildren             Madison (Tara) Huffman

Stacey (Joe) King

Dillon (Mariah) Huffman

4 great grandchildren      Avery, Daniel, Kendall and Chloe

Special thank you to Hospice and caregiver Liz Koontz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in the

Zoar Baptist Church with Pastor Aaron Evans and Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.
