BILLY  R.  HELEMS  JR.,  better known as JR, left this earth on Thursday July 22,2021.  He was born at Fort Stewart, Georgia September 3, 1963.  He loved the West Virginia mountains that he called home where he spent many hours surrounded by their beauty.  He was an excellent fisherman, hunter and a knowledgeable outdoorsman, as well as a skilled woodworker, gardner and designer of detailed fly-fishing lures.  JR was a veteran of the West Virginia Army National Guard and a professional tradesman.  He will best be remembered as a loving husband, father and loyal friend to all those who knew him.  He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ina and Lokey Hellems and his father Billy Helems Sr.

Private funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 29 ^th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Dave Acree officiating.  Burial will follow at the Bowling Green Memorial Gardens in Kentucky.
