BETTY  LOU  WHITE,  88 years of age of Calvin, departed this world for her Heavenly Home on Monday June 9,2025, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Edgar V. and Bertha Wills Allen and was born at Richwood March 12,1937. Betty was the former co-owner of White Auto Sales in Summersville and employee of Raygold Cabinet factory at Fenwick. She was a member of the Alderson Baptist Church at Craigsville, enjoyed bird watching, traveling to the Amish country with her late husband Donald R. White and was most happy spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was  also preceded in death by one daughter Melinda "Mindy" White and siblings, Russell Allen, Genevia Grose, Phyllis Facemire and Frances Grose.

The family would like to give special thanks to all of Betty's caregivers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday June 13th in the Alderson Baptist Church at Craigsville with Pastor Samuel Luppino and Pastor Ed Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin. Friends may call at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
