BETTY LOU MOORE, 79 years of age of Pool, passed away Sunday June 7,2026 at the Summersville Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Ethelbert and Juanita McClung Drennen and was born at Pool February 15,1947. Betty was a homemaker and member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at Mt. Lookout. Her greatest desire in life was to be a mother and made sure everyone around her felt like they were one of her own. She was well known for cooking, baking, canning, her love of animals and gardening.  She showed her love for others through her hospitality. Her love, kindness and legacy will live on through all of her family.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter Cecilia Ann Moore and brother Don Osborne.

Many special nieces, nephews, friends, family and her three caregivers who became her family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday June 10th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Joe Pritt officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Pool. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
