BETTY  JEAN  MEADOWS,  89 years of age of Craigsville, passed away Tuesday March 10,2026 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. She was the daughter of the late Milton and Madge Jones Morris and was born at Twenty-Mile on September 19,1936. Betty was a homemaker, Christian and member of the Beaver Freewill Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Willis Meadows, daughters Debra Gray and Sherri McKinney, siblings Harold, Ronnie, Jimmie, Robert, Bernard, Judith and Carol Morris.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday March 12th in the Fleming Cemetery at Allingdale with Pastor Mike Malcomb officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV 25801.

The Waters Funeral Chapel in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
