BETTY  LYNN  DEAL,  74 of Summersville passed away Friday October 27, 2023 in the Vanderbilt Medical Center.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Eli and Lovell Marie Holbrook Hagan and was born at Gallagher June 15, 1949.  Betty was a homemaker and a Pentecostal by faith. She enjoyed playing the organ, piano, Omnichord and singing in church. She was always delightful and loved to meet with friends, especially during her morning breakfast stops at Hardee's and McDonalds. Betty was always willing to help her neighbor. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was.  She regularly brought meals to the home of sick neighbors and was always there to offer a kind word and scripture.

She was also preceded in death by siblings Orville and Gary Hagan, Ellen Brooks, Phyllis Deal and Elizabeth Jackson.
