BENJAMIN  FRANKLIN  BAKER,  82 years of age of Summersville, passed away Thursday February 27,2025 in the Summersville Regional Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Joseph N. and Mandy Lucille Rader Baker Sr. and was born at Enon October 17,1942.  Ben was a retired coal miner, member of the UMWA, American Legion and the Summersville Moose Club.  He was a Baptist by faith and a U.S. Army veteran.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Jewel Baker, siblings; Elizabeth, Willie, Austin and Ray Baker, grandchildren; Benjamin Chad White and Ruby Ann Baker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday March 4th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville. Burial, with military honors, will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin.  Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening.
