ANNAMAE  AMANDA  TINNEL,  105 years of age of Birch River, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter Barbara in Sheffield, Ohio, where she had resided for the last seven years.  She was the daughter of the late Amos Jackson and Mary Elizabeth Clifton Hamrick and was born at Erbacon, April 25,1918.  Annamae was a homemaker and former employee of the Stonewall Jackson Grill and the Oxford Inn at Summersville. She was a member of the Powells Mountain Baptist Church and enjoyed farming and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Thurman Tinnel, son Frank Tinnel, daughter Mary Crites and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday June 29th in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Linn Schiefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Beulah Baptist Cemetery at Muddlety. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from noon until service time on Thursday.
